Here at Kleinman Law, we understand that getting a lawyer and going to court may seems expensive. It doesn’t have to be. We have flexible payment options to help you pay now, later, or not to pay at all unless your issue is resolved.

Contingency fee

You have probably heard the phrase “you don’t pay unless you win.” For personal injury or employment matters we can often work on contingency. That means you put nothing down and pay us no fees for our work unless there’s a successful settlement or your case is resolved. Costs, expenses and fees necessary in running your case are incurred by Kleinman Law until our work is done. When your case resolves you only pay an agreed to percentage of what you receive in the settlement or on resolution.

The contingency fee charged depends on a number of factors, including the likelihood of success, the nature and complexity of the case, the expense and risk of pursuing it, the amount of the expected recovery, and who receives an award of costs. The maximum contingency fee charged by Kleinman Law is 35% plus HST.

Flat Fee or hourly Rate

If you prefer to pay an all-in flat fee, we may be able to do that depending on the work you need done. Or we can do what most law firms do; you put down a small retainer and we charge you a reasonable and agreed hourly rate. Unlike most firms, we don’t charge absurd hourly rates or waste your money on unnecessary expenses.
